The switchgear consists of a fixed cabinet body and removable components (referred to as the drawer). The cabinet body's shell and the partition plates of each functional unit are assembled using zinc-aluminum coated steel plates. The cabinet body's enclosure protection level reaches IP4X, and the protection level for each compartment partition plate and the breaker compartment door when opened is P2X. The KYN28 - 12 switchgear can be equipped with VS1, ZN12V vacuum circuit breaker drawers, VD4 vacuum circuit breaker drawers, and VC series vacuum contactors manufactured by ABB.

When the temperature drops sharply, condensation may occur, accompanied by dirt, this product is suitable for the following two more severe environmental conditions than normal conditions:

No fire, explosion hazard, and places with gases that are corrosive to metals and can destroy insulation;
No severe vibration, jolting, and places with a vertical tilt not exceeding 80;
Note:
(1) Allowed for storage and transportation at -30℃;
(2) When the elevation exceeds 4000m, handle according to JB/2102 'Technical Requirements for High Voltage Electrical Equipment in Altitude Areas'. When the elevation does not exceed 4000m, no measures are required for low-voltage auxiliary equipment;
(3) When the actual use conditions are different from the above, it should be negotiated by the user and the manufacturer both parties.

Before operation, confirm that the environment is free from moisture, dust, and intrusion of small animals, and that the equipment appearance is intact; the operator must wear insulated gloves, insulated shoes, goggles, and wear fireproof clothing if necessary.\n\nProcedure for moving the trolley in and out of the cabinet\nPush in: Breaker open → Insert the crank handle → Turn clockwise to the working position → Hear a 'click' and the working indicator light is on → Remove the crank handle.\n\nPull out: Breaker open → Insert the crank handle → Turn counterclockwise to the test position → Remove the crank handle; when moving out of the cabinet, place the trolley back onto the transfer cart and lock it.\n\nPower-on operation Close and lock all cabinet doors → Close the isolating switch → Close the circuit breaker; observe the panel indicator lights and meters to confirm that the equipment is operating normally.\n\nPower-off operation Open the circuit breaker → Open the isolating switch; after the power is off, perform voltage detection, discharge, and ground connection to ensure safety before maintenance.
\n\nGround switch operation Before maintenance, ensure that the circuit breaker is in the test/disconnected position and the crank handle has been removed; use the special handle to turn clockwise 90° to close the ground switch, and turn counterclockwise back to open.
\n\nInterlocking device operation The equipment is equipped with 'five-protection' functions: prevent accidental closing/opening of the circuit breaker, prevent pushing/pulling the trolley with load, prevent closing the ground switch with power on, prevent power-on with the ground switch in the grounded position, and prevent accidental entry into a live compartment; under no circumstances should the interlock be disengaged or short-circuited.\n\nPost-operation check Compare the positions of the circuit breaker, isolating switch, and ground switch; clean up tools; fill out the operation record, including time, content, any abnormal conditions, and measures taken.
